I am in the process of writing an article about a piece of porcelain connected to the Royal Visit of 1788 and was interested in the account written by Thomas Pitt. However I believe there may be a transcription error regarding the date of the visit to the Flight’s china shop. Both the accounts of Fanny Burney and John Flight refer to the King and Queen’s visit to the shop as being on the Wednesday the 6th not Thursday 7th.
I would also be very grateful if it would be possible to download and use a copy of the stained glass window of George and Charlotte which is protected by copyright.

Dear Sir or Madam,
I expressed an interest to one of the archivists in viewing the Thomas Pitt diary of the 1788 royal visit a few months ago (April 11) and also showing a rare copy of some verses relating to the visit, I will be in Worcester from the 10th to the 14th of July and wanted to know how I might make the necessary arrangements. Unfortunately I have inadvertently deleted the lengthy correspondence with the archivist and I cannot recall his name. I would very much like to get back in touch.yoursRichard Burt
