I am in the process of writing an article about a piece of porcelain connected to the Royal Visit of 1788 and was interested in the account written by Thomas Pitt. However I believe there may be a transcription error regarding the date of the visit to the Flight’s china shop. Both the accounts of Fanny Burney and John Flight refer to the King and Queen’s visit to the shop as being on the Wednesday the 6th not Thursday 7th.
I would also be very grateful if it would be possible to download and use a copy of the stained glass window of George and Charlotte which is protected by copyright.
